The train station resource has been at Little School for a while. I remember that I made this resource because there was a child who loved trains. Later on, I found that all the children loved playing with the train station.

The main focus of this activity is to recognise the numerals from 1 to 20 and then set the numbers in numerical order. Additionally, this activity has some cognitive and fine motor skills benefits since the child has to assemble the station’s house and also fill the train’s wagon with little beads.

Aubrey started the activity by assembling the station’s house.

Aubrey continued by setting the numbers 1-10 in numerical order.

She continued ordering the numbers from 11-20.

Aubrey smiled, satisfied after she finished making the station. Then she played for a while with the whole train station.
