I created this activity for the children to practice counting by tens. I incorporated several materials to make the activity more interactive. I used poker tokens that had the number 10, a piece of paper in which I drew two lines of circles, 10 little frogs and the Montessori number cards 10-20..100.

Lomani started the activity by counting by tens and placing the tokens on the circles.

In this photo Lomani took the number 30 card and placed it in the corresponding position. Then Lomani took a frog, and counting by tens, placed it in the number 30 position. She continued doing that until she finished the activity. The children enjoyed the activity and repeated it several times during the day.
